Our story

We, Peter De Block and Nele Onghena, reopened Restaurant Groenendijk Weert along the Schelde in Weert in 2007.

You can find eel, the ultimate regional product, Flemish classics, various mussel dishes (in season), and a varied seasonal suggestion board. We also have a separate menu full of delicious vegan dishes.

In summer, the south-facing terrace with a view of the Scheldedijk provides an instant holiday feeling.
